Daniel Cheng, PhD, CCIM
Daniel has spent 13 years in commercial real estate, holding a PhD from Duke University and the CCIM designation. He specializes in helping companies — particularly Chinese manufacturers and enterprises expanding into the U.S. — evaluate markets, select sites, and negotiate industrial, storage, land, and retail transactions from first site walk to closing table. Beyond brokerage, he provides consulting services for manufacturing landing, industrial park development, and a range of other development projects.
Daniel serves as Chairman of the North Carolina China Business Association (NCCBA) and has built a cross-border network spanning government, capital, developers, and operating companies. His track record includes an $8M+ first-North-American manufacturing production base (with a OneNC grant awarded), large-scale cold-storage and warehouse leasing, and the repositioning of a 650,000+ SF industrial asset.
